Bomber from Tavour. Dark, clear amber, ruby tones, small patchy head. Pumpkin spice aroma, hints of bourbon. Taste is big and full, booze soaked pumpkin bread. Slick, medium weight. Perfect fall beer.

What an extremely weird beer. Very spicey, with notes of cinnamon, some ginger and of course pumpkin. Has some whiskey sharpness as well.

On tap @ Beer Temple, next to the regular version. Amber color ( a tad bit lighter than regular?), slightly hazy. Off white head. Aroma’s: vanilla/oak, whisky, pumpkin, a bit of raisins, quite well balanced. Flavor is noticeable less sweet than the regular version, but still a bit, also a light fruity tartness. Medium bodied. Finishes with spices and wood. The barrel aging does add something to this beer, but I think this type of beer is not really suitable for barrel aging.

Draft at Beer Temple. Pours hazy amber with a small bubbly tan head. Aroma of pumpkin, vegetables, nutmeg, light cinnamon, massive wood, vanilla, fruits, fudge and alcohol. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter, woody notes hanging around with big vegetal and fruit aspects. Full bodied with soft carbonation. Great stuff!

Draught @ CBC2013. Pours tiny hazy amberish golden with a small frothy off-white head that quickly dissipates without leaving much trace on the glass. Smell is fruity and spicy with biscuits, boiled pumpkin, bourbon, caramel, vanilla fudge, cloves, cinnamon, cardamon, charred wood, brown sugar, sweet dark bread and roasted nuts. Taste is sweet, fruity and spicy with biscuits, cameral, toffee, vanilla fudge, bourbon, pumpkin, cloves, cinnamon, charred wood, coriander, hay, charred wood, roasted coconut and actually some hints of baked pie crust. Mouthfeel is slightly sticky sweet, tiny spicy astringent, tiny boozy, round and medium bodied. Finish is sweet, tiny bitter, fruity and spicy with biscuits, caramel, vanilla fudge, pumpkin, cinnamon, cloves and bourbon. Quite good...

On tap @ Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2013. It's a really thick one this. When swirling the glass your can actually see the bubbles struggling to get to the surface of the beer. It's light blurry and deep chestnut - brown in the glass, and it lacks head. Loaded with spicy pumpkin on the nose! So strong and concentrated. Smells a bit like Christmas, with ginger, pepper and cloves. Lovey pumpkin aroma. It's thick and oily on the mouthfeel with a soft carbonation level. It somehow manages to not be to sweet or spicy. Dare I say balanced? I think I do. Lots of fresh pumpkin flavors going on here. It's actually making me want to bake a pie. Thought this would be way to sweet and way to unbalanced but it's not. A nice woody dryness on the tongue in the spicy aftertaste. By far the best pumpkin ale I've had. 04.05.2013
