33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Kulenborgse Bierhandel as vintage 2018.
Dark brown with an off-white to tan head. Nutty oak aroma with some plums and raisins. Sweet taste with a rather sharp dry oaky finish. Mouthfeel is a bit thin. Decent but the barrel aging could have gone better.

Dark brown with fluffy head. Aroma and flavour have dark malts and hints of dried fruits. The effect of the wood is subtle but noticeable especially with the dryness in the finish.

Tap @ Borefts. Dark brown color. Caramel and a hint of oak in the aroma. Malty yet dry caramelly flavor with hints of oak and vanilla.

Draught @ 10th. BBF 2018 [ 10th Borefts Beer Festival 2018 ] @ Brouwerij de Molen, Bodegraven, Netherlands. [ As De Natte Gijt Gijtebok (American Oak) ].Clear dark red brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted - chocolate, dark malt, oak - smoke, light earthy. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, dark malt, oak - smoke, roasted - chocolate, tobacco, light earthy. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Bottle from hetbiermoment.nl. Pours dark brown-black with brownish beige head. The head stays. Aroma is smoke, malt, roast, chocolate. Flavor is sweet and bitter, roast, smoke, bacon, malt, chocolate, sugar. Body is on the thinner side. Overall: very good.

Bottle. Dark brown pour. Aroma of caramelised malt, raisin and some iron. Taste has bitter caramelised malt, smoke, soft bacon, ripe fruit, dates, cookies and a little oak. Nice smokey bok.

Sampled @ Borefts Beer Festival, Day 2. Opaque dark brown color, medium sized beige head. Smell and taste malts, smoke, lightly wood, malt bitter, bitter. Medium body and carbonation. Not bad.

Borefts 2018. Day 2. Sampled draft. Thank you for sharing! Dark brown amber. Nose is sweet weird mocha like leaves mixed with chocolate truffles. Taste is too BE, esters, handsoap, sugar, BE dark fruits but too soap, fizzy, chemical, sweet. All soap & leaves meh.

Tap. Brown color with off-white head. Aroma is bourbon, chocolate, herbal hops. Taste is herbal. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Not bad, but a bit overdone.
