500ml bottle. Pours a mostly clear golden colour with a nice smooth creamy white head, long lasting too. No strong aromas from this, just some malt. Flavour is much the same, mainly malt but quite weak really, disappointing. On the plus side it is an extremely smooth beer. Kind of floral aftertaste, light bitterness. Overall nice but disappointingly weak and lagerish.

Bottle @ Bothy Bar, Kinlochleven. Blond colour, white foam. Light malty body. Aroma of caramel and light hops. Watery and easy drinkable. Not many flavour, rather boring beer.

Flaske 0,5l fra Kjeller 5. Batch L3109. Drukket i Skibotn til julelunsj 25 Des 13. Gyldenbrunt. Nesten ikke skum. Uklar. Litt nøytral blomsteraroma. Smaken er mørk frukt. Gjennomgående fjøspreg - men det skulle jo bare mangle med det navnet. Fungerte bra som matøl. --- Beer merged from original tick of Sheepshaggers Gold (Cask) on 13 Dec 2016 at 02:10 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 4 | Flavor - 5 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 5.5. Original review text: Fra cask/gravity på Plymouth CAMRA Beer and Cider Festival 23 Sep 16. Gyldengulbrun. Filmskum. Lett fruktaroma. Smaken det samme. Spor av papir. Sånn passe.

500ml bottle bought at Kjeller 5 in Tromsø. Golden body, slightly hazy. Decent white bubbly head. Rings of lace down the glassware. Grainy nose, sheer notes of floral hops. Mild taste of grain, peach, and honey sweetness. Short hop bitter ending. Soft in the mouth. Not a great one, quite alright with the Sunday food though (Tromsø 15.12.2013)

0.5l bottle. Nice label. This one pours a crystal clear golden colored body with a small bubbly just off-white top. Lot's of grains and hay on the nose. Some green banana and thin caramel. Fair, but not a winner. It's lively on the carbonation and somewhat watery on the mouthfeel. Oh, boy this did not taste any good at all. Extreme grainy with a soft sour-fruity dusty undertone. Some soft bitterness in the finish and really mouthdrying in the aftertaste. Not a particular good or refreshing beer, but I like label and the name. 20.02.2013

Pint, hand pulled in the Wrekin Inn, Wellington Shropshire diring Oct 2011. Golden, but dull: on top a poor excuse for a head, just a thin wisp and collar from the start. Slight malty aroma, toffee and caramel hints, all minimal. The taste was semi-sweet with some small hop bitterness later in the mouthfeel. There were citrusy notes in the bitterness and earthy biscuits from the malts. A strange beer all round, pleasant enough but not really putting its mark on anything, run of the mill, average in all aspects to be honest. Pity, it had travelled a long way from home to be consumed in Shropshire, maybe the journey didn’t suit it?
