Can. Pours a dark brown with small beige head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is strong cold brew roast coffee, hazelnut, chocolate. Slick body, dry roast, cocoa, light hazelnut, vanilla, boozy, very nice.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 11/1/2019. Pours dense opaque dark brown/black color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky tan head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a light amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, dark roasted coffee, roasted hazelnuts, vanilla, cream, caramel, brown sugar, toasted biscuit, and dark/brown bread/crust; with light notes of dark fruit, smoke, char, wood, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of dark/black/roast/bready malts, coffee, vanilla, hazelnut, and light earthy hop/fruity yeast notes; with big strength. Taste of huge milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, dark roasted coffee, roasted hazelnuts, vanilla, cream, caramel, brown sugar, toasted biscuit, and dark/brown bread/crust; with light notes of dark fruit, smoke, char, wood, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. Light herbal, woody, grassy, roast, charred bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, dark roasted coffee, roasted hazelnuts, vanilla, cream, caramel, brown sugar, toasted biscuit, dark/brown bread/crust, light smoke/char, wood, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/black/roast/bready malts, coffee, vanilla, hazelnut, and light earthy hop/fruity yeast flavors; with a fantastic hop/roast bitter/sweet balance; and no cloying, acrid, astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering hop/char bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/velvety/bready, and lightly sticky/chalky mouthfeel that is fantastic. Mild increasing warmth of 7% after the finish. Overall this is an incredible flavored coffee stout. All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/black/roast/bready malts, coffee, vanilla, hazelnut, and light earthy hop/fruity yeast flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mellowly bitter/charred/drying finish. Fantastic soft/silky feel for the ABV. Fantastic balance of rich malts, hazelnut, vanilla, and fruity/nutty coffee complexity; with light earthy hops and restrained fruity yeast. Light residual sweetness with lingering dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and amazing style example. Pretty much perfectly balanced between all flavors. Not overwhelming on any aspect.
