25 ounce can into pint glass, canned on 3/14/2019. Pours moderately murky/cloudy reddish orange/amber color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with great retention, that reduces to a minimal spotty lace cap that lingers. Nice spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big lightly tart/tangy mangoes, fruit skin, tomato juice, lime, salt, garlic, onion, celery, chili pepper, peppercorn, and brown sugar; with lighter notes of clams, vinegar, cracker, white bread, and herbal/spice earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of mangoes, lime, clamato, salt, and light-moderate pale malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big lightly tart/tangy mangoes, fruit skin, tomato juice, lime, salt, garlic, onion, celery, chili pepper, peppercorn, and brown sugar; with lighter notes of clams, vinegar, cracker, white bread, and herbal/spice earthiness. Light herbal bitterness, peppery spiciness, and fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/tangy mangoes, fruit skin, tomato juice, lime, salt, garlic, onion, celery, chili pepper, peppercorn, brown sugar, clams, vinegar, cracker, white bread, and herbal/spice earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of mangoes, lime, clamato, salt, and light-moderate pale malt flavors; with and awesome malt/bitter/spiciness and tart/tangy fruit balance; with no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitter/spiciness, tart/tangy fruit, and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bread/grainy/sticky, and lighty acidic/tangy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.2%. Lightly increasing pleasant lingering pepper heat through the glass. Overall this is an excellent mango michelada! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of mangoes, lime, clamato, salt, and light-moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink with the mellowly bitter/spicy/tart/drying finish. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Not overwhelming on any aspect. Perfectly balanced between Bud Light, Clamato, and authentic Mango flavors. Nice clean malt presence for the style. This is the best Michelada I've had yet. Even lighter on the tomato creaminess than the base beer, as expected. My favorite variant so far, Bud's versions are my all time favorites regardless. A highly enjoyable offering, and top tier style example. Great summer beer as usual.
