The aromas are lightly malty sweet. Flavors are also malty with some sweet but also a lot more bitter than the typical cream ale. Okay carbonation and body. Drinkable but not much more.

Got in a trade with The-Adjunct-Hippie. 12 ounce can into pint glass, canned on 11/26/2018. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy pale golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big lemon, cracker, corn, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, and lightly toasted biscuit; with lighter notes of pear, red apple, herbal, floral, wood, grass, pepper, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance of pale malt/grains and light-moderate earthy hop/fruity yeast notes; with great strength. Taste of big lemon, cracker, corn, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, and lightly toasted biscuit; with lighter notes of pear, red apple, herbal, floral, wood, grass, pepper, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, cracker, corn, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, biscuit, pear, red apple, herbal, floral, wood, grass, pepper, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great robustness and balance of pale malt/grains and light-moderate earthy hop/fruity yeast flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, and fairly sticky mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.2%. Overall this is an excellent cream ale. All around great robustness and balance of pale malt/grains and light-moderate earthy hop/fruity yeast flavors; very smooth, refreshing, and fairly crisp/clean to drink with the mellowly bitter/drying finish. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Great clean malt/grain showcase, with nice earthy hop presence/balance, and restrained yeast fruitiness. Mild residual sweetness with crisp dryness. A really enjoyable offering, and impressive spot on style example.
