F: medium, white, average retention. C: pale gold, hazy. A: tangerine, tropical fruits, orange, caramel. T: very hoppy taste, malty backbone, pine, tropical fruits, medium body and carbonation, good one, enjoyed, sample from tap @ RBBSG 10/2018.
06/10/2018 - draught glass shared by the brewers on RBSG. Cloudy orange, with nice white head. Nose is fresh bitter hops and fruits. Taste has a sweet hint, tropical fruits and bitter hops again. Nice and refreshing starter.
Sampled from tap @ late RBBSG. Hazy bright yellow color, average sized white head. Lovely aroma, very fruity and hoppy. Flavor is also delicious: very fruity, a nice hoppiness, hoppy bitter. Decent body and carbonation. Lovely beer from Totem again!
25 September 2018. At Dok Brewing Company, Ghent. Cheers to Anke & Pieter!
Pours hazy ochre with a lasting, thin, foamy, white head. Fresh aroma of papaya, passionfruit, ripe tangerine & orange, ripe peach, fruity yoghurt, dough. It tastes medium fruity sweet, quite exotic, ripe peach, sourish lemon & lime juice; light to medium hoppy bitter, mostly dry fruit peel but a subtle hint of pine too. Dry, floral & bit peppery hoppy finish, lingering fruit & dough. Medium body, oily/'fluffy' texture, soft carbonation. Massively drinkable stuff, not even Totem's best... and that's saying something!
New England style IPA with orange, draught at Dok Brewing Company the day after Totem's tap takeover there. Off-white, irregularly shaped, open, milky head on a cloudy 'muddy' looking beer, a matte orangey peach with clay beige hue - not the most attractive robe I've seen in a beer, to be honest. The aroma is however far more promising: lots of lychee, ripe papaja, indeed orange juice, bright green hop powder, overripe nectarine, soaking wet rusk, orchids. Sweet onset with sourish edge, ripe peach, mango, lychee, rambutan, a tropicalness framed in a smooth and rounded, bit 'fluffy' biscuity malt softness with refinedly prickling carbonation; quickly drenched in utter juiciness, ripe orange flesh very pronounced, mingled with tropical fruitiness from the hops, very mango- and lychee-like; small spicy hop bitter 'needle-sticks' in the end. Looks aren't everything, that much is clear here, as beyond the ugliness lurks a beautifully flavoured, bright, 'sunny' beer in which the orange effect is, however pronounced, very well fused with the generously tropical hoppiness. Perhaps not Totem's best IPA to date, but I sure enjoyed it and could easily have chugged down a few more of these.
Sampled at Gents bierfestival 2018. Thnx for sharing, everyone ! Pours unclear blonde. Smell is full, sweet, fruity. Taste is full, soft, creamy, fruity. Nice !
Thanks to sharing RB crew. Sampled draft @ Gents Bierfestival 2018. Hazy orange, creamy solid white head. Nose is mellow fruity, low orange, contains no actual orange apparently,… Taste is mellow low chalk, doughy, hay, orange, fruity, not fully in NEIPA region touch more chalk, hay, nice doughy fruity, almost weeds in the finish,… Decent amount of haze.
Small yellow head; pale orange-ochre beer. Sweetish nose, dry cookies, grains/kernels health food. Sweet, grains, bit of orange(peel), preserved orange. Bit slick, dry finish. Not bad, not exceptional.

Pretty cloudy beige to orange beer, solid creamy off-white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: sweetish, caramel malts, lots of tropical fruits, pretty nice. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: nice bitterness, orange peel, some grapefruit, bit herbal, very hoppy. Aftertaste: bit sweet, lots of tropical fruits, papaya, mango, nice stuff!
