Insane. Milk choc/coconut/vanilla/toffee/bourbon/toast/oak/fudge/molasses/dark fruit/licorice. Mild char bitter/spicy oak. Creamy/silky/velvety/full. Insane smoothness. Perfectly balanced all flavors. Wow.

Bottled 4AUG18. Amazingly rich and balanced BBA stout. Heavy, boozy, thick and creamy. So incredibly smooth. Bourbon, chocolate, sweet. Almost like a liqueuer in its intensity and thickness. No adjuncts needed here. Marvelous richness.

Draft, 8 ounce pour at Goose Island in Philadelphia. A finger big bubbly head that’s tan in appearance. Oily black. Nice alcohol legs. The aroma...mostly muted but really due to the lack of adjuncts. It has this really well melded barrel aroma. Vanilla, coconut, fudge, campfire. It just smells like a really well done barrel aged stout with all of the right aromas. This is definitely a beer for people who love barrel character. wow. It has this papaya / fig, prune, raisins, burnt oak, woody with wine and coconut flakes. IT’salmost too much barrel character leaving you with this grain alcohol finish that then fades to wood.
