2015 Bottle, danke Stefan. Tart appleskin aroma. Dark golden. Medium light mellow body, light sweetness, household apple tartness, a hint vanilla, ripe apple finish.
Sampled from bottle shared by SinH4 @ hotelroom tasting after Borefts 2018 Day 1. Clear light golden color. Dry / dried apples in the aroma but ripe juicy apples in the flavor. Quite balanced. Lovely.
Danke an sinh4. Vollmundiger, spritzig apfeliger Beginn. Apfelkuchen, süffig, trockener Hintergrund. Spritzig, langer apfeliger Nachhall mit steigender Süße. 10/11/12/12//12
Bottle, courtesy of SinH4. Aroma is strong apples, caramelized apples. Body is heavy and strong, perfect acidity, more classical than others. Vanilla and dessert. Absolutely great!
Thnx to SINH4. Any dude that randomly keeps giving me ice cider, is a hero in my books. Current hero count : 1. Awesome guy right there! Pours clear amber colored. Smell is weaker Than most other ice ciders. Still, all the aspects shine trough. Taste is sweet, thick, applesauce, no boozyness at all. Extremely silky, lovely ice cider. Very sweet backbone, since it's not lifted up by the more common encountered boozyness.
Bottle @Højbjerg tasting. Clear golden, white head, slightly sparkling. Sweet apple aroma. Sweet, slightly funky and spicy apple flavour. Smooth, sparkling mouthfeel. Lovely!
THX to SinH4! 2015 Vintage. Bright golden, clear. Nose is classical ice cider sugar, candied concentrated apple, white grape sweetness. Taste is touch weaker than smell but very nice sweet concentrated apple, sugar, candied pear, good thickness. Simple but very tasty.
2015 bottle. Clear deep golden color with slight sparkles. Aroma is apple pancake, apple sauce, a touch of wood. Taste is pancake, apple sauce, sirupy, a touch of maple, a touch of wood. Oily mouthfeel, viscous. Tasty, but lacks a bit of complexity. Still has all of the classic Ice Cider profile.
Bottle @ Three Counties Cider Shop, Ledbury. A startlingly bright and colourful blend and my first sip of ice cider. Ripe, mushy apple flesh give way to thick, deeply fruity complexities before a smooth honey warmth settles things down. Very interesting, each sip opening up new colours to the palette with a real sharp clarity. Exceptional.
375ml bottle, 2013 Xmas present from Sarah & Jonny. Clear orangey yellow golden colour, no head and sweet syrupy fresh apple aroma. Very sweet apple taste with alittle tartness and buttery, honey & caramel notes. Smooth slightly oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, sweet & dry but clean finish. Lots of complexity in the flavour, very sippable ice cider.
