Collaboration with Hogan's Cider & Boutilliers. Forget snakebite, this is Boa. A graff (cider/beer hybrid) made with 500 litres of Hogan's own apple juice in primary fermentation, and then an addition of blackcurrant juice and blackcurrant tea courtesy of Boutilliers.

440ml can @ Hop & Scotch, Kings Heath, Birmingham before watching Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs at Hare & Hounds. Pours dark hazed purple, sparse off-white topping. Blackcurrant on the nose. Taste presents a good blackcurrant sour character bolstered by firm astringent cider tannins. Quite an interesting one this, makes a pleasant change from one-dimensional fruit sours. Would be interested to taste other fruit editions in this style.
