2019 bottle thanks to Anthony. Pours a hazy gold with paper thin white head. The aroma is strong grape skin, funk, oak, lemon zest, apple, pear. Slick body, funky, grape, citrus, light tartness, enjoyed this.
From bottle at Zwanze 2020. Slightly hazy golden with white head. Loads of grapes and funk. A bit green and woody, some green apple, hay and citrus.
Bottle, bottled 10 october 2019. First batch of new version. Color: Clear golden, thin dense white head. Aroma: Sweet and sour, grapes, wood, some hay and wild yeast funk. Taste: Moderate to medium sour, light to moderate sweet and very light bitterness. White grapes, some grapeskin, wood notes, funky wild yeast and hay, hints of green apple and citrus. Medium body, below average carbonation. Long lasting fruity and lightly Bretty finish. Vinuous and bit dry-ish mouthfeel. Tannins mostly at the finish. Nice complexity, fruity and well balanced flavours. Hard to tell the differences with the previous version when not tasted side by side. Good one. Maybe a bit young, I will keep one in the cellar to see how this beer will age.
