Botella @Moeder Lambic Original, Bruselas. 16/11/2019 Color ambarino espuma escasa, aromas madea, notas frutales, sabor ligero ácido, notas frutal, madera, cuerpo medio.

Bottle shared. Pours lightly hazy dark golden with a white head. Aromas of peach, orange, citrus, balsamico, caramel. Taste has sweet esters, oak, citrus, peach.

Lovely stuff. Initial sour tartness, then lovely fruitiness. Almost a bit of sweetness, strawberry, toffee.

Clear dark orange to amber beer, big fizzy aery irregular off-white head, unstable, falls down quickly. Aroma: soft fruity character, slightly funky, bit spicy, some red currant, tannins. MF: soft carbon, medium to light body. Taste: soft bitterness, some tannins, spicy, bit herbal, fruity, slightly acidic. Aftertaste: little bitter, spicy, floral notes, very fruity, soft acidity, nice stuff going on here!
Paired with home made North Sea shrimp croquettes, lovely!

Bouteille 75cl, BB 07/04/2019, bottled 07/04/2017. Achetée à Malt Attacks, bière unique, et qui aura eu le bonheur ou malheur de terminer la relation entre Moder Lambic et DLS, assez ironique pour une bière anniversaire dudit bar. Ceci étant, la bière offre une excellent couleur ambrée et un col qui tend à remonter légèrement au goulot. Arôme offre un bouquet typique de DLS au niveau des notes de funk, le tout est renforcé par de belles notes de barrique de vin laissant un fruité complexe sur des tons rouges et noirs. Palais est tout autant unique, on retrouve une inspiration de vieille brune avec de belles notes tanniques de vin et de boisé. Sous cela un excellent caractère funk de brett et une petite douceur latente de vin. Le tout offre une profondeur de goût assez singulière. Goutée en parallèle, le Crianza III est moins complexe et nettement plus axée brett. Ici, sans même en contenir on a une bière qui peut quasi s'apparenter à un lambic.

F: medium, tan, quick gone to many bubbles. C: amber with red hue to coppery, hazy. A: malty, bit sour funky, brett, woody, fruity, yellow plums, vinous, peach, bit cheesy. T: malty backbone, bit brett, fruity, peach, vanilla touch, woody, bit herbal, some watery diluted cherries juicy, not very sour with nice retronasal vinous tones, bit caramel, very good with oud bruin style style touch, relatively easy drinkable and I was happy to find this still, 75cl bottle (bottled 07/04/17 and BBF: 07/04/19) from Malting Pot bottle shop in Brussels.

Bottle 750ml. @ Beerlovers Bar, Rotterdamstraat 105, Antwerpen, Belgium 2060. [ As De la Senne Crianza II - Moeder Lambic Original 10th Anniversary ].Clear medium yellow - red orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, moderate yeasty, horse blanket, tart, funky, berries - grapes - wine. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, wood, funky, horse blanket, tart, wheat, dry, grapes - wine - berries. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Wow this is balanced and elegant .. :0) [20180315] 8-3-9-4-17

Bottle from Geers. Deep golden colour, white foam. Nose of peach, wine, wood. Tart, bitter and woody, nice notes of red fruit, some cidery notes also. Very nice.
