Bottle at home. Opaque black color, beige tk light brown head. Aroma and flavor are malts, a bit tart, dark malts, light oaky sour finish. Rum? Don't get it. Not very nice. Meh.
F: huge, tanned, long lasting. C: dark, opaque. A: rich dark malts, caramel, bit coffee, nutty, woody touch, dark dried fruits. T: medium to full malty base, chocolate, light fruity, roasted coffee tones, caramel, bit raisins, blackcurrants, cherries, medium carbonation, nice balanced for the style, enjoyed for sure yet for me almost the same beer as not oaked version lack some more woody tones, ok may be touch of rum is there.
19/II/21 - 33cl bottle from the brewer, shared @ home, BB: XII/2021 (2021-150)
Clear dark brown to black beer, creamy bit irregular beige head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very sweet impression, lots of caramel notes, milk chocolate, some alcohol, good roast, more chocolate, little malty, some dried fruits, prunes. MF: very lively carbon, medium to light body. Taste: soft roast, some chocolate, bit sourish, some dried fruits, bit of caramel, earthy. Aftertaste: some tobacco, bit sourish, caramel notes, some lactose, lactobacillus acidity, pretty bitter, some tannins, cocoa powder, dried fruits, some cola, CO2, dark cherries, good!
