Apparently aged in ex-KBBS barrels, hence the double B in BBanana. They probably aren't allowed to put the brand of KBBS on the labels though, but here you are and now you know ! Pours muddy brown ( dark amber ) , smell is meadlike honey, clearly banana as well. Taste is thick, banana creamyness, bit chocolate. intense, thick, sticky. It works, in a way, but as I feared, banana + mead just don't really work for me. This is probably a very deviding beverage ( love or hate ) and i seem to be torn between the 2 sides. i like the mead and it's quality, and the 'blend' of flavors does work, yet my mind struggles with banana in this context...
