Medium, rather stable off-white head, giving some lace on orangey beer with a mossy sheen. (Pale) malts, lots of bananaester, bit spicy as gingerbread. Bitter, hoppy, bittering hops, dark green leaves, wormwood. Resin, pine, but with a sweet (ish) malty underbuild and some toasted malts. Warming up, walnuts and greenmalt. Medium bodied, rather slick, very lively carbonation. Raw bitterness in the mouth, perpendicular on the sweetish suave nose - not really what I like best. Txs to Stef!
Commissioned blonde for the municipality of Tervuren. Thick and dense, lacing, egg-white head, light hazy ’old gold’ colour. Aroma of classic Belgian banana and bubblegum, honey, peach, grains, cooked chicken corn, white candi sugar. Sweetish taste (but less sweet than expected based on the aroma), spicy ’speculoos’ hint, thin and bit metallic, grainy body, vaguely sweetish finish lacking hops to provide balance and body, so that it fades out in a somewhat watery ending. Drinkable, if not much more than that.

29/VIII/15 - 37.5cl bottle @ Lambiekstoempers bierfestival - BB: n/a (2015-1136)
Clear orange beer, creamy off-white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: fruity, some citrus, bit spicy, aniseed maybe? Some pineapple, probably Marc snuck in some US hops. :p MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: very malty, some caramel, bit sweet, spicy touch, banana, malty, soft bitterness. Very drinkable, though a tad too sweet for me.
