Thick brown head, stable, over opaque, almost black beer. Thick creamy-roasted nose, nutty, roast cookies and dito nuts, gravy, sweet soy sauce. Drier roast at first, then sweet liquorice. Not much further to fathom, not much complexity. Feels pretty well bodied, well carbonated. A bit... easy, too easy. Txs to Stef!
33cl bottle. A clear dark orange brown beer with a big tan head. Aroma of melasse, sweet dark malt, lactose, chocolate. Taste of sweet dark chocolate malt, caramel, lactose, melasse. High carbonation.
28 April 2019. At Zythos Bierfestival. Cheers to Anke, 77ships & tderoeck! Hazy dark brown-black, lasting, unstable, frothy, beige head. Aroma of peanut, hazelnut, earth, milk chocolate, coffee with cream, toast, dried fig. Taste is light to medium malty sweet, quite nutty, chocolate & cream on top of subtle dried fruits, roasted bitter notes of earth, mocha, faint tea leaves, leading to a dryish, herbal hoppy finish, lingering maltiness of nuts, chocolate, cream & earth. Medium body, oily texture, lively carbonation. Certainly sweet, could have been smoother for a Milk Stout.
Black with lasting foamy head. Aroma and flavour have caramelised sugars and dark malts. Good body. Slightly creamy.

28/IV/19 - sample @ Zythos Bierfestival 2019 (Leuven), BB: n/a - (2019-633) Thanks to nathanvc, 77ships & Anke for sharing today's beers!
Clear dark brown to black beer, creamy beige head, stable, bit adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: very malty, grains, hay, lots of cow fodder, rural impression, barnyard, roast, bit metallic. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet start, sugary, caramel, lactose, bit too sugary for my liking, milk chocolate. Aftertaste: soft roast, some bitter hops, malty, grains, cow fodder, sugary touch in the finish as well...
