Sampled from bottle @ RBBWG 2018, hosted by Beerlovers Bar, Antwerp. Opaque black color, average sized beige color. Smell and taste malts, lightly burnt malts, a bit dry and dusty, medium bitterness. Ok.
Many thanks to minutemat for this bottle. Dry roasted nose. The beer starts deep and rich caramelly. Lots of roasted malt, quite dry with coffee and dry bitter chocolate there. Long deep roasted malty aftertaste, caramel, dry burned sugars, hints of roasted bitterness, very smooth and soft with a great depth. Fascinating - especially for a French beer.
F: very dark brown, average to good retention. C: dark, opaque. A: roasted tones, a lot of coffee, chocolate, liquorice, cocoa, bit vanilla. T: roasted tones, dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, dark fruits, very thick body, medium carbonation, very good black lager or dry stout :), 33cl bottle sampled @ RBBWG (10/03/2018), many thanks tderoeck.
33cl bottle. A black beer with a huge most good lasting brownish head. Aroma of dark roasted malt, chocolate, some liquorice. Taste of dark roasted malt, bitter chocolate, mealasse, hints of mint chocolate, dry roasted bitter finish. Nice stuff!
330ml bottle @ Chez Sophie. Pours black, thin off-white head. Strong roast / soy sauce aroma. Rather slick and full-bodied with a rich roasted malt character, with dark chocolate, liquorice and soy sauce coming into view. Really enjoyable dark stout / schwarzbier / whatever.

2/I/18 - 33cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker) @ New Year's holiday (Ardennes) - BB: 3/III/18 (2018-5)
Clear dark brown beer, small creamy to aery irregular beige head, unstable, falls down quickly. Aroma: very roasted, sweet impressions, lots of chocolate. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: pretty bitter, roasted, chocolate, some coffee, little sourish. Aftertaste: very roasted, bit sweet, hoppy touch, some coffee. Very nice one!
Thank you! Sampled draft @ Gollem. Black. Nose is totally different from what I expected massive umami, gravy soy sauce syrup. Taste is massively heavy on bitter spice, interesting, thick plastic, liquorice, umami, soy sauce, finish. Very thick umami gravy body. Intense, not fully my style with all the umami & soy sauce but I respected this one. Not sure why a 7.5 % black lager is qualified as a Dry Stout on here.
33cl bottle @BxlBeerfest 2017 shop. BB 03/03/2018.
