Bottle. Dark brown color. Malt, soft roast, caramel, milk chocolate and vanilla in the aroma. Malty sweet roasty alcoholic flavor with bourbon and vanilla. Caramel. Some rough edges, but a nice beer.
Black with thin head. Aroma is packed with Bourbon sweetness. Flavour is less intense. Light sweet spiciness.
Pours dark, caramelly, clear brown. Smell is biscuit, complex, caramel mild oak, no real bourbon tho, accept foe some sweetness. Taste is sharp, roasty, bit bitter, some oak. Not too much bourbon. Mild booze.
Thanks for sharing! Sampled bottled @ Kerstbierfestival 2017. Dark brown amber. Nose is basic soap varnish bourbon, liquorice sugar. Taste is bit weak sugar, candy, little empty but nice caramel, sugar bourbon, low liquorice, syrup. Body is sugar, low syrup. Bourbon brings expectations of greatness which this isn’t but still quite a fair beer.
