Tap @ Mig og Ølsnedkeren, Aarhus. Pours pitch black with just about no head. Not CCB trademark head lol. Aromas of bready malt, licorice, light burned wood, dark fruits, bitter chocolate. Taste is sweet, burned wood, dark fruits, ash, sweet english licorice, peppery coffee, bready malt.

Bomber. Brune foncée, col crémeux café au lait, dorée au verre. Arôme rappelant un bon bol de céréales, effluves de grains - surtout avoine bien présent, effet de concassés, café grillé avec petite note de réglisse en rétro. Amertume modéré arrive en rétro-nasal et accompagne un agréable effet de moka-café. Palais est malté, caramel, effet grains-avoine bien présent, fini sur léger côté grillé avec note de café. Épaisseur de bouche se marque bien, réglisse aussi présente et accompagne bien le caractère du café. Certaine douceur résiduelle arrive sur la fin.

Clear dark brown to black beer, small aery irregular beige head. Aroma: lots and lots of caramel, vanilla, chocolate, soft roast, some liquorish, vanilla. MF: lively carbon, medium body. Taste: slightly sour start, pretty roasted, bit sweet, alcohol, spicy, liquorish. Aftertaste: sweet, sugary, lots of caramel, alcohol, some chocolate.

8 4 8 3 16 Bottle shared at/by Joes, thanks for providing these (sometimes) awesome bottles! Pitch black color. Beige-brown head, quickly receding. Aroma’s: sweetish, roast, mocha, raw coffee. Retronasal it’s sweetish, ground/roasted coffee, a bit red fruit. Flavor is moderate sweet, roasted, coffee. Full bodied. Nice one!

650 ml bottle at the Hoppy Pub, Thessaloniki. Black color with brown head. Roasted malty aroma, coffee, chocolate, licorice, light vanilla, dark fruits, coconut notes, smoked/burnt wood notes. Sweet and moderate bitter taste like aroma. Full silky oily body with soft carbonation.

Bottle shared by Skortila @ Caesar. Opaque pitch black color, average sized off-white to beige head. Aroma is malts, coffee. Taste malts, dark malts, coffee, dry coffee, a bit sweet and lightly bitter. Somewhat dry finish, smooth texture, medium body, suitable soft carbonation. Quite nice.
