Hopefully this is it, on tap at Fakin, Zagreb. Hazy, peachy body, no head. Acetic, tart aroma, light plums. Sweetish plum taste, acetic without being too aggressive, but generally quality stuff all in all.

On tap at Fakin Craft Bar, Zagreb. Shared with Alex. Hazy orange, minimal head. Very fruity, tart fruit, ripe fruit such as apricot, tangerine. Fruit juice. Funky, dusty, light cheese. Intensely sour! Very juicy, puckering, smooth, drinkable. Alcohol hidden. Some fruity sweetness left in the otherwise tart finish. Plums are there, but subdued. Medium body.

One of those many flavoured Cuvée Sofie versions, bottle at Café Congé in Ghent. Thinnish, egg-white, mousy, opening head, misty orangey peach blonde robe. Aroma of ripe yellow plums indeed, plum wine, gooseberries, freshly cut green apples, plum jam but distantly so, sourdough, dusty old wood, purple tomatoes, rhubarb, minerals and – very bizarrely so, only in the bottle my girlfriend got – freshly cut raw white cabbage, a very peculiar odour that was all but absent from my own sample… Very fruity, estery onset, lots of actual plum adding softening fructose sweetness to an altogether quite intensely sour environment, raw rhubarb and gooseberry notes, fizzy carb; bready, softly caramelly malt backbone dried by this strong lactic and fruity sourness, turning a bit sour-yoghurty in the end with dusty barrel tannins and even astringent plum kernel aspects – yet it is that fascinating play of sour and sweet from the beginning that remains the main point of attention also in the finish. No idea where the raw white cabbage effect in my girlfriend’s bottle came from (it was certainly not DMS) but variations like that – to me – make Alvinne’s output all the more interesting. Great fruit sour once again, bearing Alvinne’s core quality stamp completely.

Sampled from bottle. Didnt take to much notes as this was between ratebeer and brewver. Beautifull new edition of cuvee sofie, with a very refined fruityness over a more bombastic style of sour ale. Oaky, fleshy ( fruitfleshy ) and full of flavor. Reccomended .

Mocno kwasne, troszke (niewadzaco) octowe, tylko troche owocowe, chyba kapke taniczne, sciagajace, mimo to mocno rzeskie. Malo co2 niestety. Bdb minus

How much do I love Cuvée Sofie; delicious on its own and it seems to work in all combinations as well. Such a beautiful beer, lovely peachy tartness of Sofie with sweet plums. Soft, sour, superior balance. Maybe a hint more fruit?
