Bottle. Color: Clear copper to ruby, beige head. Aroma: Dark malt, red fruit, caramel, boozy hints. Taste: Pretty sweet, malty, dried dark red fruit, dates, boozy. Notes of caramel, raisins, berries, spices and hints of chocolate. Medium to over medium body, below average carbonation. Medium to over medium sweet, moderate bitter. Fruity. Bit sirupy, sticky mouthfeel. Nice one.

Bottle 330ml. @ home. [ As Buxton Quadrupel Barrel Aged ( IV ) ].Clear medium to dark red brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, sweet malt, barrel, wood, dried fruit. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, bread, sweet malt, rich malt, dried fruit, barrel, wood, candy - candy yeast. Bottled 12-1-2017. Boozy, thick, rich. Plenty wood, some whisky? Very good!
Clear dark brown pour with a fine-grained beige head. Notes of dried fruits, figs, raisins, caramel, prune jam, anise star, and just a bit of sweet bourbon or cognac in the aftertaste.
