This was an exciting collaborative brew with our friends at To Øl. We pushed our comfort zone by making one of the sweetest beers that we have ever created. Over 120 gallons of honey was used in the making of this beer. A rich and robust imperial porter served as the canvas for local wildflower honey. The finished beer rested in bourbon barrels for over a year. A well aged delight that drinks like a sweet digestif. Voluptuous notes of honey, oak, baker's chocolate, and bourbon barrel coalesce on the palate with a velvet like texture. An exquisite beverage, crafted by passionate brewers, for awesome people!

Bottle shared. Pours black with a brownish head. Aromas of honey, vanilla, fudge, light roast, caramel. Taste has lots of honey, caramel, milk chocolate, vanilla, lightly oxidized barrel notes. Tastes more like a strong ale than a porter.

Bottled. Black with brief, tan head. Vanilla, coffee, figs, bourbon. A bit warming. On the sweeter side with loads of brown sugar, some molasses. Short, mildly warming finish.

From tap at the Muted Horn, Berlin. Dark brown to black color with beige brown head. Malty aroma, roasted, dark dried fruits, raisins, plums, caramel fudge, honey notes, chocolate, licorice, vanilla, alcohol. Heavy sweet and light bitter taste. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

Draft at beertemple. Aroma of delicious bourbon vanilla, caramel fudge, cherry, honey, chocolate and oak. Taste of smooth bourbon vanilla, caramel fudge, chocolate, cherry, honey and a long delicious finish. Very nice.

Sampled from bottle thanks to Caesar. Opaque pitch black color, small off-white head. Smell and taste milk chocolate, cocoa powder, liquor, raisins. Heavy but good.

Bottle @Caesar's Mancave tasting, shared with Benzai, black with a fine brown head. aroma of bourbon, malts, chocolate, sweet, roasted. Taste lovely bourbon, roasted, dark malts, chocolate, cacao, heavy, sweet, very nice.

Dark pour with a fine-grained tan head. Notes of bourbon, vanilla, honey, sweet chocolate.
