Bottle - Sweet, slightly boozy apple and apricot. Orange gold. Very sweet orange syrup, apple and a sweet and light tart finish. Very sweet and syrupy, the orange and peach notes give it an artificial taste to me.
Bottle from a trade. Golden colour. Aroma of tart apples (Reinette)and some honey. Very fruity and tart. Sweet finish. Very well balanced. Very good ice cider!
375 ml. bottle shared by Kraddel during the (Ice) Cider/Perry tasting @ Barely Legal Tasting Room. Thank you! No idea of vintage. Bottle states a whopping 17 % ABV. Small sample. Yet this felt way less alcoholic than quite a few of the othwer way lower ABV ice ciders we had at the tasting. Dark amber. Warming spcies, huge on the candy department in the nose, liquorish & Sirop de Liège. Taste is sweet-sour candy, lots of candy, warming (but not as much as expected, in your throat you can feel the ABV), pure candy & spices taste, warming Sirop de Liège. Different for sure, amazing all the same.
Thnx to gothgargole Pours clear , applejuice colored . Smell is applesauce , boozy , full , sweet . Taste is full . Sharp , dry , intense apples , bit boozy . Very nice Edit note ; Bottle states 17 ABV
Bottle @ [ Tasting by fiulijn ].Clear medium red orange colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy apple, spicy apples, sweet apples. Flavour is heavy sweet and light acidic with a long duration, sugary apples, spicy apples, dry. Body is medium to full, texture is syrupy - oily, carbonation is flat, finish feel is light alcoholic. IMO. not complex aroma but very nice flavor and nice dry ;O) [20110926]
