Bottle. Dark brown pour. Aroma of boozy rum, caramelised malt, vanilla, oak and glue. Taste has lots of sugary rum, raisin, caramelised malt, vanilla, oak, ripe cherry, caramel and dates. The rum flavor is truly lovely, very rich and raisiny. Delicious.
Bottle. Gusher! Dark brown color. Caramel, roast and banana in the aroma. Malty sweet, caramelly flavor with toffee, banana and a slight burning sensation of white rum. Dried fruit.
Bottle. This beer was very happy to be able to get out of the bottle and immediately came out foamy. Color: Dark ruby, fast diminishing beige head. Aroma: Boozy, sweet Rum. Taste: Over moderate bitter and sweet, some caramel and dark fruit, figs, overwhelmed by sweetish and boozy Rum, sweet molasses. Hints of tropical fruit. Lightly tickling on the tonque. Bit sticky mouthfeel. Above medium to full body, below average carbonation. Not one of the best balanced Bronckhorster BA but still likeable.
