Very nice smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes stone fruits, cherry notes, bit lactic, leathery, earthy. finishes lightly dry and light to medium sour with notes of cherry notes, lactic and grassy notes. Very nice one, bit leathery, bit dry, very good balance

Cloudy reddish with a nice white head. Raspberry, pits and a nice petroleum funk Soured pits and light petroleum notes. Cherry is a bit subdued.

Couleur acajou quasi pourpre de griottes. Le tout sur un voile léger, col fin rosé pétillant.
Arôme est frais bien fruité généreux - griotte, je note un léger apport 'soufre' qui est suivi par des effluves finement acidulées, ce dernier, comme en bouche, s'estompe après qcq temps, léger boisé/chêne. Peut-être un cran en dessous de ce que j'ai pu voir récemment chez Boerenerf et une Oude Kriek toute fraîche - ici l'age diminue déjà un peu l'intensité du fruit.
Palais est plaisant avec un bouquet griotte marqué et accompagné par un funk classique de lambic, retrouve un léger apport de chêne et un côté soufre qui s'estompe un peu une fois que la bière décante un bon quart d'heure. Le fruité donne une sensation d'épaisseur en bouche. Je note que cette version comporte aussi du lambic de chez Lindemans et le caractère s'en ressent d'une version stricto 3F. Une sécheresse perdure en fin de bouche, le pulpeux des griottes entières donne

Bottle thanks to Matt. Pours a cloudy dark ruby with small off white head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is strong cherry skin, funk, earth, oak. Slick body, jammy, cherry, funky, light tartness, oak, very nice.

Bottle, assemblage no. 100 - seizoen 18/19, bottled 07/08/19. Gusher. Color: Hazy pinkish red, light pink head. Aroma: Quite subtle funky and cherry, light tart, cherry pie. Taste: Medium tart, moderate sweet, cherries, some hay and grassy hints, some cherry stone, wheat malt, subtle funk and oak, citrus notes. Very well balanced. Dry-ish and bit astringent mouthfeel. Very light bitterness. Nice one.
