Anna (1902-1993) was our grandfather’s sister; Hill Farmstead Brewery rests upon the land that was once home to her and her 13 siblings. In her honor, this Farmstead® ale was dry-hopped with Motueka™ hops grown by Freestyle Farms in Upper Moutere, New Zealand. Unfiltered and naturally carbonated, this is the ale that I dream to have shared with Anna.

BB 19. 03. 2024. light yellow murky color, smal white head. smells spices, earthy, grassy, bit flowery, peppery, light honey, nice to very nice smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes herbal, spices, peppery, citric, flowery, light honey, light horse raddish, estragon. finishes lightly dry and bit sour and bit bitter with notes of horse raddish, peppery and some flowery notes. lovely balance, very smooth and easy to drink, hops are rather subtle and very well integrated

Pale yellow 2 finger head. Smells amazing. Juicy honey, floral aromas with orange peel. Good mouthfeel. Juicy orange and tangerine. Loads of honey and orange peel. Yum.

Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow gold with medium frothy white head. The aroma is strong honey, floral, oak, lemon zest. Thin body, nice tartness, light honey, oak, light dry finish, really enjoyed this.
