Schramm’s The Rocket is our pineapple mead, honoring the late “Rocket” Rod Romanak of Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. Rod was a phenomenal brewer, and the maker of the finest tropical fruit meads we have ever tasted. His exceptional craftsmanship was the inspiration for this creamy, tart and intensely fruity Bromeliad bomb. Pair the Rocket with cured meats, especially ham or bacon.

Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 9 | Flavor - 8.5 | Texture - 9 | Overall - 8.5
Great golden orange, slightly cloudy, looks thick. Smell is pineapple, strong, slightly sweet. Real thick body, smooth, soft. Taste is sweet, some honey, slightly bitter alcoholic finish. And pineapple, but lovely and subtle, more apple than pine. Fun!
