old rating -> 2/5 drank again several times, draft at bierhuyske . must say it changed my mind a lot . i do strongly believe i was very wrong with my 2/5 , having to high expectations , maybe ? this is a beer that realy grows on you . it has tastenotes of bread, hops, sour touches, .... all in a very, very gentle, but good way . thin mouthfeel, of course, but something you simply just always want more of . i had much fun rediscovering this and i feel ashamed i ever rated this 2 /5 :o
Sample @ SBWF 12. Golden colour with a small white head. Sweet fruit aroma. Light fruit and malt flavour.
Draught@SBWF2012. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is mild fruits, sweet malts, herbs and mild toffeeish notes. Flavour is fruity, wooden, earthy and rather bitter as well. Quite bodied, as while drinking it I didn’t even realise this was a low alcohol beer!
Draught @ SBWF12. Sl. hazy golden, thin head. High carbonation, sparkling water like. Citrusy, light spicy aroma. Citrus also in flavor, light spicyness. Refreshing, great low alco!
Draught at SBWF. Lightly hazy golden, small head. Dry and clean with light body. Some hay, lots of pear. Low bitterness. Expectedly this and hard, but still way better than your average 1.5% beer.

Draft @ ’t Schooltje, thanks Carlo.
Thx to Sebletitje + Carlo & Urbain /// draft sample @ ’t Schooltje // this apparently made using the ice water that was left after making Five Squared // same as BD VII with BD VI & V // hazy golden with a surprisingly big & stable white head // nose is dominated by wheat, some light hay, farmhouse, dough, very lightly fruity & very light spices // taste is lots of wheat, touch sweet, light, small bit but definitely in no way overtly watery, hay, barnyard, slight spaces, body feels a bit light but in no way watery, oatmeal, hint of herbs, very, very mellow hops // body is wheat, slightly light but no watery // not bad for its abv, neat for the abv. // agreeable & nice for the Bob who drove everyone to “t Schooltje
