Belgian-style IPA takes inspiration from Single-Wide IPA’s malt bill to provide balance and support to a hop schedule composed of Chinook for bittering and Tasting Room Series

Bravo and Cascade for citrus flavor and aroma. After fermentation with our house Belgian yeast strain, Belgian-style IPA is dry hopped with a blend of Calypso, Cascade and Chinook hops. Pouring copper in color, the beer bursts with spicy phenolics and fruity esters that mingle with bright hop notes of apple, pear and pine. Situated at the intersection of our expertise with Belgian yeast and our love for American hops, Belgian-style IPA.

12oz bottle, best before 01/08/16. Blvd tulip. Color is clear golden, long lasting head retention, low level of lacing. Aroma is muted tropical fruit hops and a thick Belgian biscuit maltiness. Flavor is even more Belgian biscuit and sort of dull hoppinees. Light-moderate hop bitterness. A faint pear crust but general missing any strong esters. A relatively dull beer that isn’t Belgian-y enough or isn’t hop-centric enought. .
