Canned end of february 2020, but does not seem old. While I love WB pastry releases, their non-lactose IPAs can often seem a bit flat or boring, might be because of association. Same here. Nice amount of hops, medium sweet, light bitter, but not exciting.
44cl can. A murky pale yellow golden beer with a white head. Aroma of grassy and citrusy hops, yeast, hay. Taste of yeast, yellow fruits, pineapple, mellow, yeast.
Bitterhopfiger Beginn. Helles Getreide, weniger intensiv als gedacht. Mild herb-würzig, steigend bitter, mittellanger Abgang. 10/8/9/8/11/8
Pours hazy blonde, small white head. Smell is juicy, yellow fruits, but more 'heavy' than you'd expect (not as sharp as citrus like Lemon or Lime) Pineapple comes closest, but a tad less summery and tropical. bit of a white pepper phenol by the typical yeast. Malts are very mild, showcasing a minor note of breadyness, but are overpowered by the hops. Taste is very nice. A bit dry, phenolic (yet balanced) and fruity. Again, yellow fruits pop in mind, with the closes example being pineapple, but not exactly that. Mild bitterness. A very balanced IPA that doesn't blow my mind, but is easy to enjoy, and even grab a second of.
11/V/20 - 44cl can @ ElManana’s place, BB: 31/VIII/20 (2020-414) Thanks to ElManana +1 for sharing the can!
Pretty clear bright orange to dark yellow beer, small creamy white head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: pretty dank, lots of citrus, juicy, tropical fruits, nice stuff! MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bitter start, hoppy, lots of orange peel, grapefruit, soft bitterness. Aftertaste: citrus, grapefruit, lovely stuff.
