Dark brown beer, small head, aroma is malt, caramel, taste is the same, taste is the same, sweet, light sour, infection?
Brown with a tan head. Aroma of malt, caramel and overripe dark fruits. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
Bottle at THT Nov. Dark brown with creamy tan head. Sweet dry and roasty dead leaves. Moderate sweet and bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation.
Sampled at THT November. Clear deep reddish brown with beige head. Cola, earthy malts, CO2, raisins, brown sugar, quite fruity, soft herbs. Medium sweet and under medium bitter. Solid medium bodied with quite some carbonation.
330ml bottle. Poured a murky, medium to dark brown colour with a big frothy off white head. The aroma is toffee caramel, burnt treacle, aromatic hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a crisp, moreish caramel, floral aromatic hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.
33cl bottle shared at the Fat Cow. Thin white head. Hazy amber pour. Easy drinking.
33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Hema Culemborg. Brown with a beige head. Roasted malts, candy sugar and red fruit aroma. Taste is sweet but not annoyingly so. Nice dubbel, certainly on par with most Belgian ones.
