Pitch black color. Big Fluffy light brown head that quickly dissipates. Sour nose with intense whiskey, oak, cranberries, but not a whole lot of stout character - a touch of roastiness. Medium body, intense fruitiness of cranberries, prunes and raisin, some ash, jasmine, whiskey, oak. Much more of a BA sour stout with an emphasis on sour and not stout. I like sour stouts, but I like a bit more stout character. This is just trying to be so many things, like many overworks beers, all at the same time. That said, I cant say it doesnt work. I actually enjoyed this a fair amount. Very different beer. 250ml was plenty. Could have happily shared this, but on a cold night in January with the heater turned off in my room this was nice.

Unerwartet säuerlicher Beginn, in dem keine Röstnoten hervorscheinen. Wenig dunkles Malz, die Säure bleibt im Vordergrund, vollmundig aber nicht agressiv. Süß-säuerlicher Mittelteil, zaghaft schokoladig, dunkle reife Beeren, intensiv. Unerwartet spritzig, langer Nachhall. Wow. 11/13/14/14/13/14

33cl bottle. A black beer with a beige head. Aroma of tart red berries, cherries, whiskey. Taste of strong tart reddish brown malt, cherries, chocolate, brett.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Black, small head. Tart nose with black cherries, oak and grapes. Tart with underlying sweetnes, rounded, oily mouthfeel Dextrose, black currant and citric acid. Intense. Interesting.
