Bottled 03/2020. yellow hazy color, small white head. smells earthy, grassy, peppery, cheesy, funky, very nice smell. full body, bubbly carbonation. tastes earthy, grassy, citric, bit peppery, some minerality, spices, some funk, bit cheesy. finishes dry and light to medium sour with notes of minerals, grassy and earthy notes. nice to very nice one, not the most expressive geuze, and a bit on the bubbly side, but overall very good stuff.

Sample, thanks fonefan! Hazy golden, small head. Aroma of barnyard and lemon. Tart with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Mildly citric with mild hay and barnyard. Slight bitter finish. Good, but does not reach the stellar level of many other gueuzes.

Clear golden colour with quick fading head. Aroma and flavour have typical sharp Gueuze. This one has quite some more body though. Nicely grainy with a little residual sweetness. There's some woodiness in the aroma but less so in the taste so it perhaps misses some dryness. Nice that it has its uniqueness though.

Clear deep blond beer, big solid creamy white head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: nice and funky, musty, cellar, good brett notes, wood, herbal, bit lemony, dry, dusty impression, lovely stuff! MF: lively carbon, medium to full body. Taste: lovely, nice soft acidity, lots of funk, good brett, bit peppery, very good. Aftertaste: dry, nice and refreshing acidity, herbal, bit spicy, some lemon juice, very nice geuze!

Paired with home smoked salmon and fresh burrata, lovely combination!

Yesterday. Impressed with this one! Deep funk even though it’s young. Grapefruit, autumn apples and minerals. Need to get some more to age.
