29 October 2021. Third Great Timternational Beer Geek Tasting. Cheers to the Ghent beer crew!
Hazy yellow, thin, frothy, off-white head. Aroma of sour plum, gooseberry, hay, milk gone sour, mandarin, vinegar, oak. Taste has sour mandarin, plum & kiwi, funky hay & straw, bretty base & lactic acid over sourdough maltiness. Grassy hoppy finish, bretty & sour grape-like, gently oaky. Medium body, slick texture, average carbonation. Elegant & very pleasant.
750ml bottle, kindly shared by lmojoh. Session with Finn and lmojoh. Close-to-clear golden body, stable white head leaving spotty lacing on the glass. Moderate smell of farmyard and citrus. Blended taste of brett, saison fruit, yeast, and ripe lemon. Vinous impression. Mid-dry brett fruity ending. Well bodied. Pretty good. (Tromsø 08.09.2021).
Spandert av Rune. Delt med ham og lmojoh i Bakken. Gyldenbrun. Uklar. Lavt luftig skum. Vinøs aroma. Smaken ripsbær, stikkelsbær & rødvin. Lett tørr avslutning.
Bottle. Golden color. Vinous, floral aroma. Vinous, slightly sour flavor. Has thinned. Some oak , vanilla , floral. Characterful, tasty, fairly complex.
Blond colour with light haze and quick fading head. Aroma and flavour have background sweet red fruits. Up front there's just a little vanilla, lots of tartness and funk. Apple orchard. Finish has a little wood, some spicy yeast. Really refreshing.
Bubblegummy brett, wat eik, licht fruitig met citrus, ook wat funky paardedeken en licht mineralig. Vrij droog in smaak, licht zuur vnl citric and lactic, hubbabubba aardbei. Erg lekker
Mõru, magus, funky, kuiv, tammene, aprikoosid, humal. Ok.
