The nose shows intense notes of tart bretty funk and light apricot.
The palate is lightly carbonated and light bodied. Moderately tart with a gentle acidity with moderate notes of apple, apricot, and peach. Long fruit finish.

Sample (thanks omhper!). Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is floral, fruity, some nutty and mild bretty tones. Flavour is nutty, some bretty, mild floral tones with some hibiscus. Nice and dry palate.

Bottle. Pretty clear gold with with a white head that fades gradually from a cm. First whiff is all gueuze - the barn, old lemony funk - but then there are flinty and grape skin notes and drifting grapes themselves. It's all elegance imposed in the gentlest manner. More grape in the taste, which is well off dry with the barn, crackers and oak behind. Modestly sour. Slightly slippery with lowish carbonation that's perfect for me. Also ridiculously swiggable. Joyous beer.

Vollmundiger Beginn mit komplexen Aromen von Trauben, Holz, Säure, etwas Hopfen. Spritzig, die Säure nimmt leicht ab, vollmundig. Langer intensiver Abgang. Gut! 7/13/13/12//12

8.1% - Clear golden appearance with quick fading head. There's grapes of course but also lighter elements of pineapple and gooseberry. Dry and tangy like all the Tilquin beers. Really has layers of fruity sharpness and complexity.
