Pours hazy golden and an off white head like whipped cream. Aroma's: big resin, light malt, flowery hops. Retronasal follows this, with onion. Flavour is above moderate bitter, flowery. Medium bodied. Long moderate bitter finish. I quite like this.
Bottle from Mitra Bunnik, BB April 2021. Clear golden color, huge rocky head. Aroma of garlic and onion, metallic notes, stonefruit. Very dry, nasty bitterness, harsh carbonation like a belgian IPA. Fermented too far and dry (on purpose or is it an infection?), which results in the nasty belgian IPA like bitterness. If you think you can convince neipa loving casuals to get into hardcore classic west coast IPAs, forget it. Rock City continues to disappoint
