33cl bottle from Ugo shared at Craffity. Thin white head. Very hazy light amber pour. Nice bitterness. Easy drinking.
Bottled@The Hobbit Tasting. Golden colour with a mediumsized white head. Aroma is fruity and floral hops along with some grainy and mild sweet malty notes. Flavour is tropical fruits, sweet malts, mild toffee as well as some herbal and bready notes. A bit thin as for the palate, but otherwise it’s nice and refreshing.
Bottle at Brewerkz, Riverside Point, Singapore. Poured a crystal clear light amber with a frothy white head and lots of bubbles. The aroma is resin hop, light citrus. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a smooth light woody hop bitter palate. Light bodied with lively carbonation. All the enjoyment was up front and then sadly it rapidly fell away. A fizzy beer with no body.
*Bottle in Singapore. Great fresh and floral beginning. Lots of floral hops, not too sweetish body. Pine and resin, nice moderate bitterness in the aftertaste, round and nice!
Orange with a white head. Citrus and bright grassy hops. Finishes with a bitter bite. Very enjoyable.
Draught at Mrs Parmas, Melbourne. On July 25, 2013.Hazy golden color, off-white head. Malty, fruity, hoppy, fresh taste. Medium mouthfeel, medium high bitterness. Malty, mineral, hoppy aftertaste. Fruity, hoppy, sweet scent.
Draught @ Beer Temple. Clear golden color, medium sized thick white head that’s fair lacing. Smell malts, lightly metallic, a slight sour hint. Taste malts, yeast, a slight sourish influence, slightly bitter, slightly hops. Hmm don’t really like it. Low to medium body, medium carbonation.
tap at beer temple ... amber ... soft toffee hp nose ... thats malt im not fon of soft and easy ... light floral hop .. ok but that malt
On tap @ Beer Temple. Pale blonde color, hazy. Enormous white head, rocky, good lacing. Aroma’s: citrus, with retronasal something like smoke and/or wood, earthy. Flavor is lightly bitter, a bit roasted? Light bodied. Finishes dry, with lots of hop aroma, but just mildly bitter.
[11/09] Bottle. Pretty cloudy pour with visible sediment. Orange, large off-white head that fades. Grassy hops and cantaloupe nose with some dusty sweetshop aromas. Big late-hopping attack, followed by fruits. Not quite enough malt for balance and slightly bubbly mouthfeel. Could use a little more bitterness at the end, too. But nice stuff - it seems like an expression of the style rather than something that’s been tinkered about with to get a result. [3.3] [12/11] Growler. Nice aromatic hops, but less to back it up. Mango, guava, oranges, again dusty, again could use a little more bitterness. Refreshing. [12/15] Bottle, from their Advent calendar. Melon, mandarins, mango, spices. Not sure there’s any more bitterness than before but it’s cleaner and maybe a little drier at the end - which kind of comes to the same thing. [3.5]
