Pours black, small tanned head. Smell is roasty, intense, raw, green coffee. Taste is sharp, coffee, mild ashy, roasted, intense dark chocolate, green, umami (strong), pepper almost trough the herbal side of coffee. Very bitter (coffeebitter) finish. Unbalanced in a direction i'm not fond of.

Can from Gedeelde Vreugde. Hazy black, thick, frothy, beige head. Aroma of espresso, coffee roast, dark chocolate nibs, toast, cigarette ash, walnut, chestnut. Taste has sweetish maltiness of walnut, toast & subtle dried dark fruits, thick bitter backbone of coffee & dark chocolate powder, becoming toasty in the herbal hoppy finish, with lots of earthy coffee & tobacco ash even. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Textbook Porter but perfected!
