440ml can. Pours amber with a very slight haze, off-white head. Aroma of toffee and biscuity malts, light citrusy hops. Taste is sweet, malty, toffee, biscuit, light spice, citrus, bitter finish. Medium body. Not a style I usually enjoy but this was a really nice bitter.
Can from Mother Kelly’s at home. Lightly hazy amber colour with a white head. Aroma is biscuit malty and citrus. Slight floral and spice. Taste light sweet to light bitter. Medium body.
Early contender for beer-of-the-year. A hoppier Timothy Taylor's. I love Simpson's Malt. Bready and biscuity. Grapefruit and mandarin. Soft and poised. Can drink it all night long. Wow. What a beer!
