Not sure which version I had, but it was a 2019 bottle. Pours a dark brown colour and a light beige head. Aroma's: sweetish, fruit, peardrops. Retronasal the age shows a bit, and there is less sweetness. Flavour is moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied. Finish with a firm bitterness.
Can shared with Caesar (Ghost 939). Dark brown to black color, average sized off-white to beige head. Smell and taste malts, some plums, lightly alcohol, sweet a bit, brown candy sugar, distant note of bubble gum. Solid.
3 July 2020. At Bar Beenhouwer, Ghent. Cheers, Anke, Pieter, Meeki & Ama Deke! Ghost 804. Hazy dark amber with a slowly diminishing, frothy, tan head. Aroma of pear syrup, date paste, fig, molasses, red apple, plum, brioche, medicin, vague rainwater. Taste has sweet plum, raisin & date, phenolic pear & clove wrapped in cake-like malt with some spicy liquorice. Herbal hoppy finish, spicy & phenolic, medicinal even, but candied fruit stays the main component. Some warming herbal liqueur alcohol in the very end. Medium to full body, syrupy texture, soft carbonation. Malt-forward, rich & thick.
Bottle. Dark sugar, herbal, juniper, light paper, belgian yeast spiciness. Darkest clear brown, low brown head. Medium full, dry dark sugar, raisin, light chocolate, spices, berry and banana retronasal. Roast, some umami, dry chocolate. Fairly belgian. Well done.

Bomber from Tavour. Bottle number 2476 out of 3000. Poured into Westmalle chalice, dark, ruddy brown, with an initial one finger beige creamy head. Aroma and taste are spot on, brown sugar and molasses , prunes, raisins and figs, and then dome dark chocolate. Creamy feel, does not seem boozy. On the money.
