Apricot and yeast in the aroma. Yeasty flavor, sweetish and fruity (ornage, apricot and curacao). Just a bit milky. Some reasonably hidden alcohol. Just a bit of a cabbage flavor.

Notes from early 90s. Bottle. Aroma’s: strong smells of apricot, along with dried fruit, malty sweetness and spices retronasal. Flavor: only lightly sweet, surprisingly. Medium bodied. Long finish. A bit too apricot-y.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein minimal trübes orangegoldenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr malzig süß, alkoholisch, belgische Hefe. Geschmack sehr malzig alkoholisch, fruchtig, würzig

33cl bottle from the BierKoning, Amsterdam. Thin white head. Hazy golden amber pour. Some honey in the taste. Nice enough brew.

Dark blond colour. Some sweet orange citrus comes through in the aroma. Low carbonation. Quite a thick and sticky texture. Sweet, fruity taste with some apricot flavour in the background.

Been a while since I had this, don’t remember it and the only thing my notes say is that it smells sweet like kids’ candy.

The smell is quite good. Made me expect quite a lot. The taste can’t live up to that expectation. It’s a nice beer though, and i’ve ranked it quite high. Nothing really wrong with it.

Bottle @ Cnudde Tasting.. Unclear light amber orange color with a average, creamy - frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, apricot, moderate orange shell, raisin. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light acetic with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (290308)

Thin cream-coloured head; amber-orange beer. Fruity, meaty nose, a bit peppery finishing touch. Fruity taste as well, brandy-like, citrus, peach. Again meaty character, little jam-like finish, winey - as jam diluted in wine, with a little shot of brandy. Great. Slick, slightly oily MF, well bodied; Aftertaste as a blue cheese, bit smoked. Very complex beer, bettered by some ageing. Typical for this brewery.
