Our Blonde Barleywine is made with a huge but simple malt bill that pairs with El Dorado, Sorachi Ace, and Lemon Drop hops resulting in flavors of apricots, peaches, and citrus. Aged for 13 months and 21 days in a Hillrock Bourbon barrel.

Released in 2017, 2018 & 2019. Last Bottled on 3/19/2019.

Bottle, bottled 19th of March 2019, 13 montjs and 21 days BA in Hillrock Bourbon barrel according to the label. Color: Hazy reddish amber, no head. Aroma: Sweetish, caramel, fruity, vanilla. Taste: Over medium sweet, over moderate bitterness. Caramel, candy sugar, Bourbon, vanilla, subtle fruity notes of citrus fruit and hints of stone fruit. Some oak. Boozy. Nice complexity. Dry-ish mouthfeel. Full body, below average carbonation. On the sweet side for me but overall very nice.
