Deliciously smooth, silky and rich without having to cut your hand off to get it. Darklord Imperial Stout is 440ml of pure liquid indulgence. Sometimes it’s good to be bad.

440ml can from School of Animals, Kuala Lumpur. Poured almost black with a big, short-lived, frothy tan head. The aroma is big roasted malt, toffee, biscuit, pastry, lactose. The flavour is moderate sweet and liqourice bitter, with a smooth, rich, roasty, big liqourice, dark chocolate, light boozy alcohol palate and an oily mouthfeel. Medium to full bodied with flat carbonation. Loved the aroma. Rich and tasty. The liqourice bitterness was a little harsh tho. Would like more sweetness in the finish. Vanilla or Coconut edition maybe?

Can. Black with a fading tan head. Roasty aroma with mocha, singed cream. Oily, lowish carbonation. Sweet with caramel and mocha before powerful roasted flavours hew through. Bitter and a little powdery at the end. Alcohol is well covered. It's good but there's not a lot of character.
