For this specific Framboos we used summer raspberries. Which we macerated for three months. The one- and two-year old lambikken come from 3 barrels and 3 different brews. The final fruit intensity is 332 grams of raspberries per litre of Framboos. Some honey was added during bottling (2 grams per litre).

Framboos with a small dose of honey added ( More info about the specific beer is described at the specific Batch )

Bottle. Almost clear pinkish orange golden with very fizzy head that lasts 1 second. Very sour raspberries, soft balsamico, grapes, light funk, wheat, caramel, glue. Very sour, light sweet. Medium bodied with low fizzy carbonation. Yeah this has some good aroma but it's also super sour and rough to drink.

As suspected, pretty sharp sourness. Lots of raspberry, decent bit of wood, and some light funk. If only they could decrease the acidity of their raspberry beers some more, they would be stunning. Still tasty, though.

Pours unclear amber, no real head. Scent is very full, funky, tart (acetic) , raspberry. Taste is full, intense, tart, acetic (overly acetic) , lactic acid on top of that. Raspberry is clear, funky, natural and provides needed balance . Honey obviously isn't recognizable as it has fermented, and was only a small portion to begin with. Way to acetic and unbalanced, something i've had more often in the last few years with Hommage / framboos ...
