Slow gusher. There's an unwelcome tartness in aroma and taste at first. After a while this subsides a little. Elements of coffee come through well in the aroma. It is a bit watery. The background sourness keeps coming back. It's probably going off despite being 3 months within date.
Tap at Van Moll. Dark brown to black color, medium sized light brown colored head. Smell and taste malts, dark malts, a light sourish note unfortunately that reminds me of green coffee beans but could also be a slight infection. Too bad. Otherwise the coffee is pretty nice. Solid bitterness as well. Not gonna be too harsh.
Milk chocolate, raisin, cocoa, caramel aromas. Taste is cappuccino, caramel cake, milk chocolate, profiteroles. Sweet roasty finish. Competent, tasty brew.
Väga hapuks ja off läinud.
330ml can; BBE Dec 2020. Poured into my Gordon, thistle shaped glass at home on 26th Jan 2020. Very dark brown body, tanned topping. Malty nose and taste with a vanilla and coffee leaning, not quite as exciting as I hoped to be honest, a bit thin body wise and flavour wise.
Can: Poured a pitch black with a fast dissipating tan head. Aroma is thick coffee with hint of chocolate. Taste is smooth silky chocolate, light coffee, maltiness that balances.
