Reaching for the Stars is a New England Style IPA with 7% ABV. The beer is characterized by a firm, late dry-hopping with the blend of El Dorado, Mosaic and Citra hops. These hops provide flavors of tropical fruit, citrus, pineapple and mango and aromas of citrus, pear, watermelon and stone fruit. We used a large amount of oats for the silky smooth mouthfeel that we like to see in our hazy IPAs. This time we fermented the beer with Lallemand's Verdant IPA yeast.

Pretty cloudy deep blond yellow beer, small creamy irregular off-white head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: lovely, tropical fruits, citrus, mango, juicy, very dank. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: good bitterness, lots of grapefruit, juicy, more tropical fruits, very bitter, slightly sweet touch. Aftertaste: lots of hops, grapefruit, citrus, tropical fruits, juicy, very nice, pretty bitter, mango, resinous hops, bit of pineapple, nice stuff!

Can at home. Hazy unclear pale yellow, average sized white head. Smell and taste lightly malts, sweetish hoppy initially, hoppy bitters later. Quite okay.

Aardige IPA. Flink bitter, flink hoppig, fris en een beetje droog. Gewoon goed. Niet on-Nederlands goed.

Almost no head over fully hazy yellow beer. End of bottle serious yeast sediment. Exotic & citrusfruit jumble, bit sharpish and hinting at astringency; ever so slightly cheesy hops. Bitterish-fruity; not astringent but dry, almost dry-out effect, hopoils. After some time a nice grape flavour surfaces. Light to medium bod, grist/yeast slickness. Quite nice NEIPA!

CD 18/11. Lovely lemony yellow hazyness, with a white head. Smells fruity, but still subtle, bit grassy. Soft and easy drinking. Taste is very nice, obviously not as heavy hitting as their DIPA's, but well balanced. Some citrus, bunch of gooseberries. Yay.
