For this blend we macerated Muscat Bleu grape must - a hybrid wine and table grape that has its origins in Switzerland - with four different lambikken from two different barrels. Afterwards we let it macerate for five months and blended the grape lambik with another three young lambikken prior to bottling. The final fruit intensity is 38.1% of grape must per litre of Druif Muscat Bleu. 100% 3 Fonteinen.

Bright acidity, mellow fruity grapes and pleasant funk. Lemon, wild strawberry and horse blanket. Medium high acidity. Very nice even though I think it’ll be even better in 2-3 years and a perfect match to cut the flavours of the rich quiche.

Sampled in a set of Druivenlambiek Muscat Bleu (°54 , °55, °56 ) and Druif Muscat Bleu (°47) .
This one contains 38.1% Grapes.
Pours a clear, dark reddish amber. Scent is very raw, funky, intense, tad sweaty, wood. Looks more carbed than the other ones (due to this being Druif rather than druivenlambiek,, so makes sence) . Taste is indeed more robustly carbed, making the lambic more pronounced, though the grape intensity is higher - compared to DL MB °56 . Love the body / balance in here, but it looses perhaps a bit of the expressiveness the DL MB 56 possessed, and -- as I'd later learn - so did the others.

Deep red with a decent white head. Petroleum notes and red fruit. Light red fruit and not really much else. None of the greatness that is 3F, a bit of a let down. Simple red fruit and just a touch of funk.

Little cloudy deep ruby red to purple beer, small creamy pink head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: nice, good brett character, some red wine notes, fruity. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: lovely, some cherries, tannins, fruity, lovely, soft acidity, pretty bitter, dry, bit soapy. Aftertaste: more tannins, dry, nice acidity, red wine notes. Decent one!
