10/12/12/12/11/12
Bottle shared. Clear amber to mahogany, small beige head. Quite some funk, oak, caramel, indeed some candi sugar but it’s more citrussy and mineral than sweet. Lots of cellar funk, leathery too. Medium sweet and a bit more sour. Also some not-lambic bitterness. Over medium bodied. Nice.
No head but off-white rim over veiled copper-orange-ochre beer. Wood, lactic acid, lemon, farmyard, milkchocolate, swimming pool, spunk. Weird - but good. Dry lemony lambic, hints of caramel syrup, but no real sweetness. Old wet wood. Refreshing, if less than classical gueuze/lambic. Sharp acidburning, long dry finish. Great, if slightly less than Straffe Winter.
Pours a warm amber. No real head. Scent is intense, malty, light funk. Taste is full, medium tart. Full on malty, like rye bread almost. A slight hint of smoke, almost. Amber malty, light Carbo. Bit sharp. Very nice, but not as good as straffe winter was.
Hapu, puuviljane, sidrun, tamm, linnased, happeline suht, veits herbaalne, linnased. Hea.
Semi-hazy ruby-brown pour with a thin off-white head. Tons of oak, grape vinegar, apple cider vinegar, bitter cherries, lambic funk. A really enjoyable beer, probably the first faro I actually like. A beautiful winter beer.
Slodowo-dzikie, pozytywne zaskoczenie w sumie. Dosc ciezkie. Ale ryli fajniuchne
