Canned (from Alko Web). Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is liquorice, alcohol, some quite stingy and some sweet malts. Flavour is liquorice, alcohol, some sweet malts and quite singy. Also a bit brandy and some nutty tones.
Pours black, medium small tanned head relatively stable (concidering its abv!) Scent is pure, roasty (chocolate) and bourbon, woody. Oats. Taste is full, robust roastyness but smoothed down by lots of vanilla from the bourbon. It peeks behind the corner of being overly boozy, but is just not overdoing it. Lots of woody flavors, but the smoothness here makes it stand out. Demands some silence, thought and time - yet is so overly drinkable for it's ABV. A medium thick body (nothing too crazy, in this league) helps with that. Some sweetness, but not overdoing it. A surprisingly balanced barrel bomb. Barrel masters truly is a great subtitle for this work of art.
Black, little bit of light brown foam. Smells oldschool roasty, licorice, dark chocolate. Body is firm, smooth, tiny bit boozy. Taste is gorgeous, big imperial stout like they way they used to make them. Roast, licorice, dark fruit, some barrel. Great.
--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Pitch black, no head. Aroma of honey, licorice and vanilla. Very sweet with massive body and sticky mouthfeel. Male syrup, honey and treacle. Milk chocolote and bourbon. Boozy chocolate finish. Bold and boozy, surprisingly non-complex for its size.
Thanks for the can Fin! Very black-ish black with a black shine, low collapsing brown head. Old wood-soap aroma, spongy, smoke dark caramel, pine needles, currant, very intense, I have trouble identifying things. Medium full chewy dry body. Full wood vanilla entry, fairly sweet, wood in various states, from fresh staves to decayed, peat, coffee liquor, boozy, not sure I really would enjoy a cocktail or liquor which tasted like this. Still, strangely easy to drink.
33cl can from Etre Gourmet web shop. F: thin, tanned, quick gone to some bubbles. C: black, opaque. A: rich dark malts, leather, toffee, dark dried fruits, raisins, tobacco, light woody tones, dark bread, vinous touch, chocolate, cocoa, bit bourbon. T: full malty base, chocolate, cocoa, woody, nice warming alcohol, dried fruits, vanilla, toffee, soft carbonation, very good almost to be great, fully enjoyed.

Taster at home courtesy of Sander, big thanks. black color, tiny coffee colored head. smells whisky, vanilla, minty, herbal, boozy, nice smell, rather on the boozy side though. full body, no carbonation. tastes of whisky, bit ashy, subtle peaty notes, subtle sweetness, some booze, subtle vanilla. finishes with some heat and strong bourbon notes, light sweetness and some booze. not bad, but overall not a lot going on, rather heavy on the booze. had lots better from Buxton. Reminds me a bit of those old school brewdog beers.
Dark brown pour with a thin tan head. Toffee, bourbon, sweet roasted malt, cane sugar, vanilla, some oak. Decent, but a bit too sweet - though the alcohol is well-hidden due to that fact. Still quite sharp and difficult to drink.
