Lci #tripel
Bottle, bb 4/21. Pale amber with a dense white head that lasts very well. Aroma is pretty restrained with honeyed dough and spices. Medium bodied with high carbonation. Tastes much as it smells with almost sharp spicy bitter finish. Some fruit - apricot, nectarines, no citrus - but it's all a bit thwacked by the spicy end. Very much Westmalle territory.
0.33 l bottle from Angry Moose, Čakovec. Shared with Alex. Hazy golden, small off-white head. Aroma is yeasty, estery, fruity, pear, light malts, some alcohol, light pear brandy aroma. Peppery flavour, strong, balanced, not too sweet. Fruity, malty. Drinkable. Spicy finish. Nice one, slightly warming, calming and balanced.
Hoppy, slightly soapy, citri aroma. Just a bit sweet falvor with some hopbitterness. Creamy, some citrus and vanilla. Hopbitter, slightly metallic aftertaste.
Pours somewhat hazy amber coloured, topped with a smaller offwhite head, not so lasting. Malty nose, pleasant biscuity notes, caramel and some hints of dry fruits. Mildly sweet upfront, biscuity mostly and some caramel presence. Gentle bitterness later on. Slightl peppery finish and gentle alcohol warmth. Nicely drinkable, medium body. I guess letting this one sit on the basement shelf for some time just improved it.

Cloudy yellow golden colour, small frothy white head, fairly lasting, light lacing. Aroma malts, wheat, yeast, banana, light citrus, straw. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, peach, pear, yeast, spicy notes. Sweetbitter aftertaste, spicy and alcoholic notes, medium body, creamy texture, average carbonation, good tripel though the 'normal' tripel is better.
